I bought this along with the GPS for my RS300X, and it work a treat, easy to set up, but be aware that reading the instructions is necessary, leave the 1.000 setting alone until you have set it up, then adjust after, if it needs it, I found I didnt have to ( I am 5.9, with normal sized legs, (ie short and hairy lol). Very accurate. Brill tool.

Very big

I own a RS800CX heart rate monitor that comes with a S3 foot pod, which is brilliant and does everything I need it to do. I subsequently bought the RS200 (without the foot pod) for my parents as a gift as they themselves are keen runners. Some months later I decided to by them the S1 foot pod, as that is the only one that is compatible with the RS200 - I was quite shocked at the size of it in comparison with my S3. It is an absolute brick and I returned it as they would never have worn such a big pod while running.

I would recommend rather purchasing a Polar watch that is compatible with the S3 foot pod if you dont already have one.

This is a great tool to monitor your speed and distance during training is compatible with cycling and running.
The batteries do not last long though.
The calibration process is very easy , take it for a run of a set distance and is calibrated.

Easy to set up, calibrate and use, not changed batteries yet so not sure about life - already run 30 miles with it. Its accurate. Its a bit on the bulky side though (but light) ,despite this you dont notice it while running. Great aid for training schedules etc.
