WARNING MEN!!

If you are a man, do not buy this product: This item is intended for females, but this was not stated in product description when ordering. product is actually F6(f) not just F6. fortunately amazon has an excellent returns service.

Not skipping a beat

This watch is an essential when keeping fit and pushing myself at our regular gym sessions. Accurate measurement of heart rate allows exercise keeping track of levels, Records calories used and maximum and average rates. Takes the guesswork out of keeping fit. This product avoids picking up signals from other lesser spec watches and does away with the inaccuracies that gym machines show in heart rates. A must have.

The F6 is awful

I bought the F6 and returned it within a few days. Apart from being uncomfortable to wear (I guess I might eventually have got used to it) the main problem is that the upload of data via the sonic link system just doesnt work. It is so unreliable - kept getting to 28% and giving an error. I spent 4 hours trying to upload 1 hours worth of exercise data. Such a frustrating waste of time.

Go for one with a) a better chest strap and b) a decent interface to the PC.

Nightmare F6

Its been 3 weeks and I have still not been able to upload data from watch to PC. Nightmare instructions that are sent over on email. This is the mostly flaky piece of technlogy I have ever brought. I dont know how POLAR has managed to get away with!. Hope to take my watch back to where I brought it. Its just not good enough! Trust me you will get stuck with this sooooo stupid technology and I wouldnt even call it that! its some crap that works for very few people, but for most it doesnt - look on polar website and youill find a load of complaints!

I spent 2 weeks already - just sitting like a lemon by my computer with watch and mic.....

If youre a guy, dont order this one!

I ordered this product for my partner to replace his old Heart Rate Monitor - be warned, this is the FEMALE version (it says Polar F6, but then in brackets F6F). Although the picture shows the male version, what you get sent is the female version. Unless youre a guy with slim wrists,the female version wont fit! Other than that, its a great product. Ive kept this one for myself, and found another site thatll send you the male one, so my other halfs happy too.
